replaced a polk ctr unit with this item. this unit performs extremely well in a very large room. audio quality far surpasses the polk in a smaller, neater package. would recommend to anyone.

I recently bought a Sony HT-SS360 Home Theater In A Box system, but noticed the Center Channel was terrible. Now that I have this new Center Channel Speaker, the system is great! It's pricey but worth it! I haven't read one negative review about it and now I know why!

Definitive Technology makes beautiful speakers, both by looks and by sound quality. The ProCinema set is a great value, with the ProCenter1000 at the core of the system. Good for music and better for movies and tv. Handles delicate sounds as well as loud explosions and sound effects nicely. Built in speaker stand, but capable of being mounted. No complaints at all!
