Each speaker's mounting cutout measures 7.88 inches in diameter and sits 4.25 inches deep--an unobtrusive size that easily holds the speaker's 6.5-inch titanium-laminate cone woofer and 1-inch dome tweeter. The units are ideal for use as main speakers in your living room or secondary speakers in an adjacent room (when connected to the main receiver), or even as home theater surround speakers (rear left/right) when watching movies or listening to five-channel audio sources. Listeners will appreciate the 40 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response--which handles bass frequencies with ease--along with the white faceplate that blends easily into most ceiling surfaces (users can also paint the faceplate to match different-colored ceilings).
